He is known for his soft rock songs, beginning in the 1970’s. Kenneth Clark “Kenny” Loggins is an American singer/songwriter and guitarist. Kenny was originally a part of the duo Loggins and Messina. Later he became a solo artist writing (Rock, Soft Rock, Pop Rock), also writing songs for other artists.
Loggins, born in Everett, Washington, graduated from high school in 1966. He formed a band called The Second Helping and released three singles during 1968 and 1969 on Viva Records. The band’s music was described as “excellent punky folk-pop” songs were written by Loggins, who was the band leader and front man as well. Greg Shaw of Viva Records included “Let Me In” on both “Highs In The Mid-Sixties, Volume 2 and “The Pebbles” Volume 9 CD.
